WHAT’S THIS VOTER PARTY, about?
Inspired by the participatory, creative spirit of Burning Man*, The Voter Party provides toolkits and opportunities to empower artists, performers, makers and doers of all mediums to participate in civics. Their efforts help increase voter turnout by making voting fun and engaging!
WHAT HAVE Y’ALL BEEN SCHEMING?
Bored with typical voter canvassing, The Voter Party created a toolkit that empowered artists host their own creative and engaging takes on voter registration initiatives in their communities. The novel and fun approaches
which artists took had an increase of 20% higher registration rates over
classic button down shirt and clipboard style canvassing. Voter Party
members took part in 37 individual initiatives around the country.
